God Can Use Small People: David and Goliath

This story is perfect for young kids who can learn that God uses even the smallest of people for His purposes. You can read the story in 1 Samuel 17.
God Will Protect Me: Daniel and the Lion’s Den

Esther is a great Bible story for kids who need to know that God will use them to do great things in His kingdom, and gives them a role model for protecting and standing up for hurting people.
Creation
The story of Creation is the very first story in the Bible. God spends seven days creating the whole world and resting afterward. This very first story gives us an idea of who God is and how creative He is. This story is perfect for your creative and artistic child. The story of creation is found in Genesis 1.
God’s Big Plan: The Story of Joseph
Joseph and his coat of many colors is only a small part of the story about Joseph and how God used him to save his family. The whole story includes prophetic dreams, travel to Egypt, and jail time. The whole story of Joseph is in Genesis 37 and Genesis 39-47.
God is Powerful: Joshua and the Big Wall
God has used some pretty crazy methods to show His power in the Bible. One such example is the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho found in Joshua chapter 6. God knocks down the towering walls of Jericho, not with a wrecking ball or dynamite, but with trumpets and a shout of victory!
The Christmas Story (the birth of Jesus Christ)
The original Christmas story is found in Luke 2, and tells us the story of how Jesus was born into the world and came to save us! There is a lot of celebration and joy to be found in the Christmas story, and we also get to learn about Mary and Joseph, the human parents of Jesus.

God Is In Control: Jesus Calms the Storm

God Does Miracles: Jesus Feeds the 5000
No one in any Bible story is more powerful than Jesus. In Matthew 14:13-21, Jesus is teaching to a crowd of people, but none of them has brought any food, except for a boy who only has five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus uses this simple meal to feed 5000 people in a stunning display of His power and provision.
God Loves Me: The Parable of the Lost Sheep
The parables of Jesus are great stories to share with your children because they are the stories that Jesus used to teach His followers about Himself. All the parables in Luke 15, but especially the parable of the lost sheep, teaches us about how God will find us no matter what.
Jesus is Bigger than Death: Jesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead
Death can be a scary and uncertain thing for children. It is important to remind our children that Jesus has power and authority over all things, even death. Teach your children about death and mourning, but also Jesus’ power, in this amazing story found in John 11:38-44.
Jesus Is Alive: Crucifixion and Resurrection
The story of Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection is arguably the most important story in the Bible. It is the centerpoint of the Christian faith and reveals God’s love, sacrifice, and ultimate power over death and sin. The crucifixion and resurrection story is found in all the Gospel books of the Bible (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).
